Shima Seiki, Knitwear Machinery Provider, Introduces Awareness Tags for Smaller Products

Knitwear machinery provider Shima Seiki has introduced new Whole garment "mini tags" , available exclusively to customers that utilize Whole garment knitting machines and produce items such as gloves , socks , scarves , hats , and other accessories that are knit on the company’s SWG041N , 061N and 091N compact machines.

The new offering complements Shima Seiki’s standard business card size tags , but according to the company , the new mini tags meet the needs of customers whose products are to small and out of balance with the larger standard size-tags.

The mini-tags are 4.5cmx4.5cm and hang diagonally for visual appeal.They have rounded the corners to prevent snagging , and a matte coating for durability. According to S hima Seiki , the tags promote consumer awareness about the benefits of Whole garment knitwear versus other knitwear products.

Since their introduction , more 5 million Whole garment product tags have been sold according to Shima Seiki , which says it does not profit from sales of the tags; rather it keeps their cost down to advance consumer awareness of the Whole garment knitwear technology.
